Rebuilt top of the line 350 Engine (Refer below of table of improvements in the engine) less than 500 miles (Driven only from Detroit to Metro Toledo Ohio (Maumee) and a few test drives. Great trip auto handled great with its new engine, muffler etc. Storage in Toledo Ohio. This vehicle LOOKS AND RIDES GREAT.. This engine is a real bargain---lots of power, this auto screams down the road. Headers are wrapped to prevent heat lost.

Body devoid of rust. Odometer reading is 70,000 however all the motor, exhaust, tires etc are new. This auto really moves and the next owner can continue where I left off and build this auto into a 1977 charm! Minor touchup might be needed. The final improvement would be a new paint job (colors decided by the new owner.) Present black color not bad, as you can see in the above photos. Air Conditiong works may need a charge.

   Synopsis: Lords of the Crescent:: Sumerian mythologies said: "The Nodian lords of heaven--the son's of the God Anu--were maroon on Earth ten thousand years ago, on the 'Fertile Crescent'.  Later driven to higher earth, by a great deluge, they settled on a 4558-meter high mountain, south of the famous Mt. Ararat. They discover Natufian cave men at the famous cave called Shanidar.  Some of the Nodian Lords of the Crescent believe man has it in him to achieve a full life here on Earth! Others thought he did not, thus planning to eradicate these Natufian cavemen.

   This fantastic action adventure novel takes place on the "Fertile Crescent", now known as Iraq, Egypt and parts of Turkey. The Nodian lords needed man's help to return to their home star system.  In order to leave the Earth, they must first be alert to man's needs, teaching them their technology.  Accomplishing this by example, through genetic infusion, education, and love always incognito. 

   Struggles for power over who governs along the Nile, Tigris and Euphrates rivers, on the 'Fertile Crescent', becomes a way of life.  Battle after battle ensues, ceaseless warfare with depopulation, plunder, razing of cities, and enslavement for the survivors.  Life, along the Crescent, is precarious; conversely, Natufian man rebuilds his cities, the arts prosper, and knowledge matured in stages.

   Did the Lords succeed in upgrading man helping the Lords of the Crescent, to return to their home planet among the stars, or are they still here? 

   Thomas E. Fairbairn  Author Biography:Tom E. Fairbairn has had an amazing career, which has given him the background to write real scientific historical fiction, giving credibility to his book, "Lords of the Crescent". He attended or graduated from many different schools, from technical high school (electricity), Several Naval Radar and Electronic schools, i.e. Chicago Naval Armory (basic electronics); Texas A&M Naval EE and RM school graduate. Treasure Island Naval advance Radio and Radar school, Marine Radar Schools Camp Lajune NC; and the University of Toledo, College of Engineering (Physic-Math major 4 years).  He holds 18 worldwide patents. He held top defense management positions in R&D, design, project management, jet aircraft, radar, TV broadcasting, electronic communication systems, computer controlled ballistic missiles, and air defense.

A well-developed cubic crystal form. Example of a major ore of copper. Every offer considered but I would never let this rock go for a low price. You will never see one like this. Less than a foot long and one third foot wide. A fantastic large CUPRITE CRYSTAL. GREAT FOR MAKING JEWLERY,18 pound quarry crystal rock found in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the copper country. 

A rock collector's dream. This copper laden rock crystal (or what ever) is loaded with copper and copper oxides (green). Some times found in its raw form as Tenorite. Tenorite is a black massive mineral found in the oxidized portions of copper deposits where it is associated with other secondary minerals such as cuprite, malachite, azurite, goethite and hematite. It usually forms as a result of the weathering of copper sulfides such as chalcopyrite.

Red -Brown color is pure copper with mixtures of copper oxide (green) and Mica spots with many other oxides, metals and foreign substances. With the prices of copper ($4.00 per oz) these days it is worth its weight in gold, this is a 18 pounds (288 oz.) rock.   This means this copper could be worth up to $1000.00 and add to it all the other crystals imbedded in this giant crystal, and you can see how valuable it is. . Gold is now at $690 per oz.

Polish this beautiful object and what a collectors item this is, or break it up into small jewels by the thousands. I am sure it is worth more broken up for its gems value

The Mineral Cuprite (Cu2O) is a major ore of copper and is still mined in many areas of the world. Except for native copper, cuprite gives the greatest yield of copper per molecule since there is only one oxygen atom to every two copper atoms. As a Michigan mineral specimen, cuprite shows fine examples of well-developed cubic crystal forms. Cuprite's dark crystals show internal reflections of the true deep red inside the almost black crystal making it desirable for jewelry.

Many specimens of native copper are obscured by black or green surface coatings which hide the beauty of the mineral. Black coatings on copper are cupric oxide -- tenorite to you mineralogists. Green coatings are generally combinations of copper sulfate (brochantite) and copper chloride (atacamite). On statues and pre-Columbian art, the green coating is termed patina and is generally regarded as a very desirable indicator of authenticity. On mineral specimens, the coating is generally regarded as offensive and most collectors want it off.

This beautiful Texas LIKE Steer Horns Hand constructed) and (a smaller mount) will look wonderful in your home, office, patio.  THIS IS REAL HORNS NOT A CHEAP PLASTIC IMITATION.  Makes a perfect wall mount decoration gives that real western look. Horns (two) are mounted in decorative heavy leather on a hand cut board with mounting hook for the wall. Many people hang these over their fireplace to make a real western scene. The horn spread is 27 INCHES TIP TO TIP. The leather mounting is about 11 inches by about 3 inches.  Size is not all that counts LOOK AT THE COLOR AND THE SHAPE OF THE HORNS and the mounting decorative leather.. The trophy is good shape , and looks great on the wall.

This painting will have greater value in a frame, which can be purchased at any frame shop. A frame can make or break your painting (Oak Opening is a area of North West Ohio (Metro Toledo) that is preserved in it original historical form, with indigenous plants tree and soil (sandy) that is not found most places on earth.)the painting is in excellent condition. I saw the painting 50 years ago at "YOUNG's Studio and
I have it in my possession today and I can not see any difference in its quality. The painting has some "THREE D" look because of the painter's style. ROBERT J. YOUNG of TOLEDO OHIO USA. He been painting for 70 years. Some of his paintings  (similar to this one have sold in Phoenix Az. for
over $1500.) I suppose one can clean any painting but I really do not see the need! The painting had and has captured my eye -

TOLEDO OHIO, and as I said AZ. He has worked (studied) with the TOLEDO M of
ART and has had some shows in different locations.  Many of his paintings
are down along the Maumee River, Point Place Maumee Bay etc. He still has
many original paintings yet - in fact he has them stored in TOLEDO. I have

The lens in the camera is f4.5 and has shutter speeds B1/ 25th, 1/75th, and 1/200th. COMPASS, MAGNETIC, HAND HELD, VINTAGE -- LATE 30's+. 

This hand held vintage magnetic compass, (size of a old pocket watch) was issued to USA Corp of engineers employees (USCE), who needed to know the direction that their vehicles i.e.  boats  etc. were headed, in order to perform their job ( lake survey, etc.).  It is silver in color, very solid construction, with a push open button on the top end (where the chain link loop is attached). 

It is a great directional pointing device that can be used by boy scouts, girl scouts, soldiers, travelers, hunters, woodsmen, sailors on the seas, engineers doing survey work and many other lost people traveling by  boat, auto, airplane, on foot , bikes, and what have you --anywhere on earth or mars!

When the push button is pushed, the cover opens as shown in the first photo. This exposes a glass lens, for viewing a color imprinted 360 degree dial marked North (N) South (S) East (E) West (W) and in smaller letters NW, NE, SE, SW.  

The outer scale is printed in black also 360 degrees (in digits of 20 degrees) This is not only a handsome compass, well built, rugged, but highly accurate as a hand held north seeking  directional indicator, with North printed with a larger gold arrow (That points to the Earth's north magnetic pole).

When the compass cover is clicked closed, the delicate magnetic seeking north floating arrow, is locked into place for travel (after the cover is closed)

This  General Motors vintage table radio weighs 25 pounds, and measures 19 inches high, 14 inched wide and 10 inches deep. The rear chassis has a antenna spring clip connection, and a ground spring clip connection. With modern radio stations power, either one need not be connected with a long antenna or ground wire. 

Power requirements are standard 110 volts 60 cycle power outlet, (note the power cord and the speaker cord outside cloth sheath is bared in some place, but the wires themselves are in excellent condition,  This is the only age damage.  the cabinet wood is in excellent condition, and the chassis and other canned enclosed glass tubes are in great condition. Most internet vintage radio/ electronic stores have tube replacements available.

Radio reception is excellent -- even on distant stations. There is no fading or changing of volume or frequency. Frequency does not drift.  The broadcast band is 500 to 1600 KC

The PRO-2035 is no longer available from (Javiation or Radio Shack)as all stocks have been sold by : (But I have come by an excellent operating PRO-2035 system, refer to actual photos above) The Radio Shack PRO-2035 1000-channel Programmable Home Scanner from Realistic (Manufactured by GRE in Japan) replaced the well respected PRO-2006 base/mobile scanning receiver in the Radio Shack/Tandy line up Apart from the rather more "modern" design to the PRO-2035 it has several new features - the most visual being a large rotary tuning dial on the front. The receiver is pleasing to look at with controls well spaced on the front panel. Frequency Coverage is continuous from 25MHz to 520MHz and 760MHz to 1300MHz, 1000 memory channels store frequency and mode. AM, Narrow FM and Wide FM are available on any frequency. Various increment steps can also be selected by the user. In terms of operation the PRO-2035 follows all previous GRE produced scanners, owners of sets such as the PRO-2006 will soon be at home with the '2035. Programming is identical with the radio defaulting to certain modes and increment steps after entering a frequency however the defaults can be overridden by the press of either the Mode or Step button. Any number of banks can be scanned and channels locked out as the user wishes. The 10 search banks allow the user to enter a lower and upper frequency to search between, the mode and increment step can also be selected by the user. Two new search facilities allow more than one search bank to be selected at any one time whilst "Auto Store" will automatically store any active frequencies found when searching between two frequencies into one of the memory banks. Whilst this is an extremely useful facility for unattended monitoring it has it shortfalls as it does not detect if it has already stored a frequency into the memory bank, the possible result is that you can end up with a bank of 100 channels filled with the same frequency. The large tuning dial allows memory channels to be quickly selected by rotating the dial "up" or "down", it is also possible to tune up or down from a displayed frequency. The PRO-2035 also allows for a certain amount of "memory management" to take place. You can move frequencies that may be spread throughout a bank to run consecutively from the start, you can move memory bank contents into the monitor bank and should you wish to delete a bank of frequencies it is not necessary to do a complete CPU reset as before as all frequencies in an indivdual banks can be cleared with the press of a few buttons. Locked Out frequencies that you may no longer require in a memory bank can also be deleted very quickly. As with many Realistic scanners the provision for instantly scanning the NOAA weather frequencies is provided - a facility that can be best described as useful as a chocolate fireguard for the majority of users world wide including USA and in the United Kingdom ! The Pro-2035 is fitted with an internal AC transformer 110+AC outlet or can be run externally via 12 volts DC. This radial-tracking record deck had a lightweight turntable (only 400g) to minimize torque at starting. The automatic cueing system was also very fat-acting, so it was a matter of a few seconds between touching the PLAY control and hearing the music.

Note the tone arm had built-in anti skating and carried the MMC 4 pickup, ensuring accurate tracking and excellent sound quality.  Normal PLAY and Stop functions were entirely automatic and could be operated with the lide lid closed; manual buttons for  playing non-standard discs were located on the deck plate.  In addition to automating the setting of correct speed and cueing position for each record, the BeoGram's built-in microcomputer allowed a REPEAT function, which could be programmed for up to 7 plays of the same record

Drive was provided by tacho-controled DC motor via a flat-rubber belt, so turntable speed was always accurate and could not be affected by fluctuations in the main supply.

When used with BeoMaster 2000, and electronic data link allowed BeoGran 2000 to be operated by the BeoMaster's controls.  BeoGram 2000 could also be made up as part of the BeoSystem 2000, when linked together with other .  Note: the British type connector can be adapted by the above adapter (Included ) for America et el equipment.Further info and confirmation of value can be fund at http://www.BeoWorld.co.uk)

US Supreme Court Judgment

So finally the matter is settled, after much sabre rattling and a few million dollars in legal fees the traditional publishers finally had to admit defeat and accept that e-books are not automatically copyrighted to them. Could have gone either way though, rather like the early days of video versus film, but on that occasion the film companies won. The difference was of course, that the property was theirs in the first place!

So what this means is that all you authors out their who have contracts with traditional publishers are now free to talk to the likes of us about putting your work 'online'. Better have a careful check of the contract first though and make sure it doesn't specifically mention e-rights - because we certainly will!
